Community action planning is a community-driven process that allows community members to be part of the planning, implementation, and monitoring of community development at the district and at the community level. It involves local community members being guided by local facilitators working together with additional officers and other community workers to conduct an assessment of their needs and resources, and also to collectively identify their vision, strategies, and actions to address those needs.
